Reflections Arts Contest
Reflections is the National PTA program that encourages students to reflect on a specific theme and create original artwork for fun and recognition. All Briarwood students may participate in this opportunity to showcase their creative talents. The theme for the 2022- 2023 program is "Show your Voice"
How to Enter:
All Reflections submissions must be accompanied by an entry form. For rules and more information go to https://www.pta.org/home/programs/reflections.
Entries will be collected at Briarwood (in the front office) in October. The deadline is TO BE ANNOUNCED. A reception to recognize Briarwood students who participate in Reflections will be held in the spring.

When writing the title and artist statement, give your work a title that stands out and describe how the work relates to the artist's personal interpretation of the theme.
Review Criteria Used By Judges:

Interpretation: How closely the piece relates to the theme, based on the work itself and the artist statement.

Creativity: How creative and original the pice is in its conception of the theme and its presentation

Technique: The level of skill demonstrated in the basic principles/techniques of the fine arts.
